News Information Session Updates

This is the introduction phase of our meetings. Within this introduction we project our newest updates to our members, such as new business ventures, projects, partners, members, opportunities, internships, jobs, etc. This will also be the time Roseanne Biase, our current Director of STEL, will address ELS with the newest efforts coming from this branch.  

Guest Speaker / Workshops

We feel like one of the best ways to engage our members and inspire them to go out and pursue their dreams is by bringing in people that have already gone that route and have them share their experiences with them. To fulfill this need, each month we will bring in a new guest speaker from different industries, organizations, and businesses, we will base our decision on which guest speaker to bring in based on our members' interests/desires. However, we will not always want to have guest speakers, having a guest speaker every month could get dull, to deter such a possibility we will spend a few meetings doing workshops to help members. Workshops could and would include such things as resume building, business plans, interviewing, essay and grant writings, public speaking, and etc.

Breakthrough session (networking)

The Breakthrough session is the break period within our meetings, during these breaks we provide refreshments and finger snacks as a way to get members up and to one place. In such a setting, we facilitate an environment where members can network and converse with each other. This session provides for a more comfortable and friendly environment and allows our members to get better acquainted with one another.

Member Spotlight

Yet another way to highly inspire and motivate members towards achieving their goals is by presenting them with individuals within our society that have succeeded or are making progressive inroads towards their goals and dreams. Each month we will highlight a member that can share their motivational, testimonial, or success story with ELS. After sharing their story we open up a Q & A session, where members will be able to ask specific questions that address their concerns or hopes. By holding such a session we really put a face to the opportunities and success that are available within ELS, the success of our members should serve as motivators, which we hope will trickle down to our members and push them closer to their desirable paths.

Executive Board Addresses the Assembly 

This is the closing phase of our meetings; this will be a time where we reiterate any important information to our members and give them a farewell packed with motivation and inspiration. We will also take this time to address any newcomers, which would be brought by ELS members.

Following the actual ending of our meetings all upper management members will be available for at least 15 minutes to converse with members as well as answer any questions anyone may have.
