The Established Leaders' Society can be credited for doing many things for its' members. Therefore, when you join our society you can expect for many opportunities to become available. However, like most things what you can expect depends on your specific motives and pursuits, so listed below are just a few things we can gurantee to any of our members who decide that they are interested in going these particular routes.

It's the false perception of obligation that unfortunately harbors one self from pushing towards their dreams destination. Our society is one that is immersed with a sense of excellence, as well as imagination and innovation. As a member of such a society, you will inherit these traits.
The Established Leaders' Society will help you develop a mindset of personal freedom, which eliminates the need to do what you feel obligated to do, and instead focus on what you want to do, something that you're truly passionate about. With such a mentality you will soon realize your true potential. It’s no longer enough to hope, dream, or depend on luck to achieve your goals. In 2007 the Consulting Industry made USD$310Billion in revenue. That is USD$310Billion for selling advice. Advice is a hot commodity and is something that has a lot of value, a high worth value that all members of ELS have and are willing to contribute. VCU has so many students from so many different backgrounds, it is almost unbelievable to fathom. ELS will connect these students and allow them to be of service to each other. We also have seasoned entrepreneurs and professors on our Advisory Board who will be available to our members when needed.
It’s important to remember that no one person holds all the answers. You will have many ideas that no one has ever thought of and vice versa, those differences could potentially hold the keys to your success.

In an increasingly competitive world, to achieve success it is important to not only gain and retain knowledge, but to also establish connections with the type of people that will be useful and beneficial in your life now and/or in the future.
The Established Leaders’ Society prides itself with bringing the strongest individuals of VCU together within an environment that would allow for an extraordinary amount of possibility and productivity.
As a member of The Established Leaders’ Society you will be placed within the highest ranks that VCU offers. Like all of our members, you have gone through a screening process before being formally invited to join our society. This extra step assures all members, including yourself that you will be involved with people that you can rely and depend on, people that are determined and although are all different, all share a common goal. Success.
5. Investment Opportunity
The problem is that most people don’t choose to invest their money, or even take control of their money; instead, most choose to store their money in banks. Banks will gladly take control of your money and use your money to make more money. The best part of this deal is that they reward you with a relatively small fraction of their returns (most commonly known as interest). Unfortunately, most people fail to realize that the interest rates (or rewards) being offered by their banks don’t keep up with the U.S. inflation rate. So not only do you lose money in this process, but you also miss out on what you could and should be making.
Other people invest in stocks, which usually are a wise choice, just not a wise choice for everybody. Most people don’t have enough time at their disposal to fully assess and analyze which stocks they should buy. In addition, most people usually can’t afford to buy enough shares in a given company to have any say or insight of what goes on with their money, which leads to the risk of money mismanagement, which potentially leads to company failure (bankruptcy).

6. Social Responsibility
Although we all come from various backgrounds and have experienced different hardships, we can all say at the very least that we are fortunate enough to be going to college. As the next leaders of our nation and even our world, it is our responsibility to help those that are not as fortunate. There are many things to be done and we are all in positions to contribute to our community and beyond. Through our Social Trust branch, we will create and implement programs designed to teach, educate and also give back. As members of this community we have a responsibility to help adjust the various unbalanced scales existent in our world today.
The goal of our programs is to give back, but at the same time there will be major lessons learned in how when you give, you usually get much more in return.
7. Experience
The Established Leaders’ Society offers both a professional and personal experience.
Many believe the key to having a successful career or advancing in a career is obtaining a degree from an accredited university. That is far from the case though. Although having a degree will set you apart from many other job applicants, it will not put you in the upper echelon we all desire. During your job search upon graduation you will find that most employers are looking for employees that have about two to threes years of experience in their respective fields. With the various businesses involved within The Established Leaders’ Society you will have the chance to gain that needed experience as well as the opportunity to gain that experience from getting involved with another’s idea or developing your own.This kind of experience will help you catapult your career in a direction and speed you would have never imagined.
